Hi all, I’ve wanted to do this for nearly a year now. I finally got around to hiring a local videographer ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) to do a short feature on my car.
It’s sort of a souvenir to myself after the car moves on to its next owner. Watching it makes me want to keep the car longer!
Ben and his assistant did a great job IMO. Enjoy, AMA, etc. Thanks for watching!

Good god every time I see a video on an F355, I’m reminded how much I love it and how much I want one.
I’d even take an F1.

I like the look, but some reason the modern Ferrari I want the most is a 550

IMO the F355 is significant enough of an overall experience that the transmission should not be a deal-breaker.

I’m not one of those manual for everything types, so I do t really care, but the gated shifter is very pretty.
They could give me one with a CVT and still gladly accept it

I still kinda want a 456. 550 is nice too but those have attained somewhat-bro status and prices are out of control.

Bro status? Really? huh never noticed that
They are pretty pricey though.

It’s all relative. Even within the exotic community, there are cars that have become status symbols hoarded by speculators, and the 550 is getting pretty close. Last V12 model produced with a significant proportion of manual cars.

Hmm, I guess that makes sense. I just really enjoy it is front engined and a very handsome vehicle.

Agreed and agreed. It’s attractive in a slightly more masculine way compared to the mid-engine cars

Yeah, I guess the fact I don’t see them anywhere either makes them attractive to me as well. I like odd ball things that aren’t appreciated enough. I also felt the 550 didn’t get the respect it deserved.

I think listening to a Ferrari engine run on a CVT could be a prescribed method to intentionally acquire schizophrenia.
The gated manual shifter is a sensory delight to view and operate. Almost as lovely as an expose shift linkage.
